Mateusz Borowiak
Mateusz Borowiak studied piano and composition at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama – Junior School, and read music at Girton College, Cambridge, graduating with double first class honours in 2009. He continued his piano studies with Andrzej Jasinski at the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice, Poland, graduating with high honours in 2011.
He has appeared as both soloist and chamber musician at numerous venues in the UK including Barbican, Birmingham and Cadogan halls, Purcell Room, St James?s Piccadilly, St Martin-in-the-Fields, Snape Maltings, West Road Concert Hall and King?s College Chapel – Cambridge, on festivals including King?s Lynn, Lower Machen, the Northern Aldborough, Stratford on Avon, and in Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Italy, Poland, Spain, Latvia and Ukraine. He has performed with orchestras including the Royal Philharmonic, London Mozart Players, Cambridge University Musical Society Symphony Orchestra, European Union Chamber Orchestra, Silesian Chamber Orchestra, Cambridge University Chamber Orchestra, Sinfonietta Cracovia, London Octave, Czestochowa Philharmonic Orchestra, Orquestra Simf?nica del Vall?s and Silesian String Quartet.
